Hi Mark,

a couple of Debian Developers are behind the BioConductor project on
alioth. Some packages come with a considerable amount of data that in my
opinion does not necessarily belong to the Debian main distribution.
Others would require to go to non-free which again renders many to
reside in contrib. All in all it is about 350MB, not too much, but more
than one should quickly decide over, in particular since things multiply
for the differnet platforms.

So, whlie I am certain thing to happen, it may take a little while.

Many greetings

Steffen
