What does this mean for potential testers ?

It means that, theoretically, the package is ready to be used by end
users and also installed on Debian's archive.

New packages need an approval by a FTP-master to enter the archive.

The NEW queue can be viewed at [1] and for people that want to install
amide, you can use [2] (which includes binaries for i386, source code,
etc).

[1] http://ftp-master.debian.org/new.html
[2] http://people.debian.org/~naoliv/packages/amide/

Note that Dominique is the maintainer of amide. I've just sponsored him.

Best regards,
Nelson
