Thanks. To get the below command to work I had to modify my sudoers file as follows:
sudo visudo: Cmnd_Alias PBUILDER = /usr/sbin/pbuilder, /usr/bin/pdebuild, /usr/bin/debuild-pbuilder misha ALL=(ALL) NOPASSWD: PBUILDER misha ALL=(ALL) SETENV: PBUILDER specifically, I had to add the SETENV command. I had not used pdebuild previously, but had always used pbuilder --build. Thank you!
