Hi Olivier, this is an informal convention to notice that the repacking of the tarball was about removing files with problematic copyright or license statements. The tilde makes sure that the version is inferior to the upstream version, that is, 2.26~dfsg < 2.26. If everything about the contrib directory is solved by discussion with Upstream, we can upload a 2.26 package. The contrary would not be true with other suffixes like +dfsg, since their version number is higher, that is, 2.26 < 2.26+dfsg. Again, I only had time for only one pedantic change this morning. But I confirm that now the package builds fine. I also built it with the regression tests enabled. If I press enter for all the questions, they all pass. Do you think you can find a way to run them non-interactively ? I think that for a complex package like Gbrowse, regression tests are an important asset.
