Hi, I'd not thought about this. The ampliconnoise.1 is generated from the ampliconnoise.pod which was hand written by me, so that's OK.
The Doc.pdf is presumably made from a Word document that is in the possession of Chris Quince. I'm sure he'd be prepared to send a copy and even put it in the upstream tarball, but of course there is no way to automatically recreate the .pdf from the .docx (or indeed from .odt, as far as I know). I'm sure this must be discussed somewhere in the DFSG if I have time to dig through them. In the meantime I'll mail Chris.
