ksnapshot is the one for KDE.
gnome-screenshot for gnome.

Sure, but, again, I don't see why med-practice-* should depend on
krita/kate/gedit/ekiga/linphone unless specific private practice
related use cases can be demonstrated.

That got nothing to do with whether they are med-practice-*
users or not.

apt-get intall pdftk

or

apt-get install joe-dummy
