Uhmmm, yes, I did. I was just running licensecheck which was displaying unknowns. The problem is that the files with this copyright are stating: /* * Copyright (c) 1996-2001 Lucent Technologies. * See README file for details. */ but there is no README file. :-( > We had a bunch of rejections from the new queue recently, and I think that we > would benefit by a flexible step of peer-review before uploading packages from > a first step. By flexible, I mean to not wait too long if no review comes. +1 > We can either do it informally, or via the workflow that I proposed earlier > in the Debian wiki. > > https://wiki.debian.org/CopyrightReview > > I am willing to do some reviews, but the important point would be to have a > broad participation, so that it is a real peer review, and not a specialist > comittee :) I liked your offer a lot when you announced it but I had the impression that you were the only one who is honestly doing this (even I need to admit that I'm not very good in checking copyrights - if you need a proof see above). I have just problems putting all the work on you and so I hesitated to follow the proposed procedure. For locfit I'll contact upstream and will ask for rejection to spare ftpmaster the work of useless checking.
