Hi Andreas and everybody, I agree. The field has evolved much since ClustalW-MPI was forked from Clustat W, and we packaged a large number of Free alternatives that solve the same problem (aligning more sequences). In parallell (no pun :), ClustalW-MPI's development was abandonned many years ago. I also think that it is time to remove it. Have a nice day, -- Charles
