You did perfectly right but as I wrote here https://lists.debian.org/debian-med/2017/06/msg00017.html I took the chance to convert the package to Git. We should probably more aggressively move packages to Git if I understand current movements correctly. BTW, I did not CC you in my mail above since I assume you are following the list.
