Biojava is quite old (recent is biojava 4), and kept mainly for compatibility i 
think.

As suggested by emmanuel, maybe easiest would be to patch out corba related 
stuff (is there any corba service still running in real world? )

Deprecated stuff won't be easy to adapt to recent jdks.
