Hi Steffen and Debian Med team, Hope you are all well. Just a quick mail to tell you that omicX is running low in finances and an economic plan is in preparation to fire 30 people, including me. I will thus not be working for omicX anymore from the 8th of March.
Nevertheless, the OMICtools's team will be reduced to around 10 people and the platform should remain alive for some months more. Then, it will all depends on whether they will found enough users that will pay for the premium features and become self-sustainable. If not, I am afraid that OMICtools.com will definitively close... Anyway, the adventure was nice and it was a pleasure to meet all of you. Hope Debian Med will have a longer life (but that's already the case 😉 ).
