AFAICT, this test deliberately raises and catches exceptions, to confirm that backtraces come out as expected, but runs into discrepancies because they wind up containing absolute paths (whose prefixes may of course vary) rather than the expected relative ones. I'm not sure why that would be; you might try consulting -python. -- Aaron M.
