Hey Nilesh. Thanks for thinking about this. SSE2 is part of the amd64 baseline, so it is fine.
I guess we could adjust that d/rules to more clearly make a `-plain` on both amd64 & i386. It is a bit out of date from the style I have been using more recently. So you could update it, but there is no error nor any urgency.
