Hi Michael, I upgraded minimap2 in Git which is now at version 2.22 (we had 2.17) and had obviously incorporated simde inside the code so several chunks of your simde patch do not apply. Since I'm not educated about simde sufficiently I'd be really happy if you could finalise this and upload minimap2.
