The only approach I've gotten to work is setting the environment variable VDBPWFILEPTR; although we could certainly adjust the test script accordingly, I'm concerned that we'd be papering over a genuine regression. :-/ Meanwhile, I did push a changelog update adding a closer for #997280. -- Aaron M.
