is there a reason for not uploading canu? I can do it if you would

According to Salsa CI the autopkgtest of the new version is as broken
as the one of the version in sid - so an upload will not make things
worse (as far as my very quick look has shown).
Hi Andreas, I had a look and asked MS Copilot; maybe the breakages
comes from the fact that OverlapMhap.pm is not fixed anymore after
a recent upstream update?
https://salsa.debian.org/med-team/canu/-/blob/master/debian/rules?ref_type=heads#L27-29
Unfortunately I was not able to fix it so far.
It also has no human Maintainer set as Uploader. I (you) can put my
name as an easy fix for this in so many cases - not sure if this makes
things better or worse.
I have put my name in case we manage to fix the package. Accoring to
Upstream, canu reached end of life and there will not be a newer
release. If we can not fix it I think that we can just remove it.
(Although it would be neat for legacy usage such as salvaging old data
or complying with reviewers wanting for a benchark against canu…)
Have a nice day,
Charles
