Hi,
The problem is, I guess, that the upstream package contains code to
build multiple programs. The README only explains how to build
gmer_counter, gmer_caller and gassembler. The wordmap.h file is used by
gmasker, a program that is not mentioned. Question is, is it needed at
all? Anyway, the file is missing from the upstream sources and there are
no rules to create it, nor is it clear where it should come from.
So, either build only the three mentioned executables, leaving out
gmasker, or report it upstream.

have trouble building the latest upstream source as you can see in Salsa
CI[1]. I somehow guess the header file "wordmap.h" is somehow missing
in the upstream source - or is it some separate project?
If nobody has an idea here we should probably report the problem upstream.
