Thanks for checking!
Unfortunately, things are not so simple so #1127425 was reported with "serious" severity. Fortunately, while revewing the CI logs I noticed a SIGABRT on i386 with a proper backtrace [1]. I prepared 2.2.5-18 which fixes the bug (I hope) and restores the original autopkgtest, removing all problematic -dbgsym dependencies. It passes the Salsa CI, which failed reliably before if not run from GDB. Could you (or some other DD) please review and eventually upload? Thanks.
