Greetings, The major version gwyddion 3 is available in Debian experimental for a couple of weeks. This revision migrates to GTK 3, which is going to be needed for the upcoming Debian 14 forky in 2027, because of the drop of support for GTK 2.
I'm wary of migrating gwyddion 3 to unstable too fast while the revision 2 is still usable, because at this point, I'm under the impression that the software is not yet in a completely usable state, but people may wish to have a try and see for themselves.
