I would like to package eCos, which is a embedded system development environment. I am not sure how to handle it, though: On the one hand it contains binaries - the ecos tools. On the other hand it has lots of source code - the targetsystem is compiled from that. So should the binaries go in /usr/bin/ and the source to /usr/src/ecos/ ? Is there a precedence for this?
