A question regarding the second way of getting the gpg key signed.
In

there is a method discribed where I (as applicant) can send the (scanned)
photo from my passport within a signed email to a dd.
Is this really a second option, or is it a "you should not do it" option?
My problem is that the next dd lifes pretty far away.
