The canonical way to solve those issues ist trying to educate upstream. Using sysmlinks might be a temporary fix. > 6. That way, the big contents in /usr/share is in the archive only once and not once per arch. > 7. And, a segmentation fault is always a bug that should be fixed, preferably upstream.
