One minor issue I noticed too late: the Vcs-Browser field should point to a repository containing the Debian packaging, rather than just the upstream code. The latter may be put into debian/upstream/metadata which you already included. Thus, if you have your packaging in git, please point both Vcs-Git and Vcs-Browser to it.
