usually this is not needed, since I presume you will do a diff between the current version in unstable and the one on mentors pull-debian-source openldap dget -u mentors-url.dsc debdiff of them filterdiff debdiff -i "*debian*" > debdiff.filtered sign and upload :) (this is my workflow, that works in such cases, and has some added value: 1) easy to spot regressions and to see changes 2) easy to spot different checksum on orig tarballs (and avoid rejects because of this) (debdiff fails when two different orig tarballs with same versioning are used) 3) easy to upload after review) let me know if you intend to sponsor this, otherwise I can do the upload in a few minutes thanks!
