I looked at your package and it looks fine to me, but given you're putting it under team maintenance (which is great!) shouldn't someone from the team sponsor you? They will likely also be able to review the package better then me. A personal recommendation would be to put the so version (9) in the filename pattern of your debian/lib*9.install file so that whenever the soname gets bumped you'll instantly notice it while building. Ofcourse lintian will also complain about soname not matching package name, but that's less subtle and you can't really have too many safeguards in place to catch potential mistakes in package ABI handling..... Would also be interesting to know what your interest in packaging this library is. Do you have or intend to package something using this library? Regards, Andreas Henriksson
