nice to see the package improving fast :) while you get accepted to the team, lets see: compat level 10 means debhelper >=10 :) (or well, 9.something, but 10 is easier to remember) + - Added new Python3 package port + - Update to new compat level 10 they need to go in the main section (with * instead of -) they don't belong to the new upstream release, but they are packaging changes. (e.g. you can use the - when the new release directly fix something or closes bugs), packaging changes should have the * instead (to understand, the new release is Python3 ready, but can't force you in packaging the Python3 version, it is a non direct side effect) I would keep this entry as is: + - Unused license removed But I would rework in: "- update copyright file for new release and remove CC-BY-SA-3.0 and public-domain references" other stuff seems good, I think if you get accepted in the Python team, and you push changes... we can go for bin-new queue :) bests regards, G.
