I submitted the email to close the bug, as you suggested. > I am closing this RFS because it does not accomplish anything besides > changing the maintainer. There are no other relevant bugs to address with this package currently. I'm fairly new to Debian and am looking to get more involved in the community. I know one of the suggested ways to do this is to adopt orphaned packages. vcdimager is a dependency of software that I use so I thought adopting it and ensuring it has a maintainer would be good for Debian. -Jack ________________________________ From: Debian Bug Tracking System <[email protected]> Sent: Friday, June 17, 2022 8:18 AM To: Chin Ah Toh <[email protected]> Subject: Bug#1013084 closed by Bastian Germann <[email protected]> (Re: RFS: vcdimager/2.0.1+dfsg-6 [ITA] -- VideoCD (VCD) image mastering and ripping tool) This is an automatic notification regarding your Bug report which was filed against the sponsorship-requests package: #1013084: RFS: vcdimager/2.0.1+dfsg-6 [ITA] -- VideoCD (VCD) image mastering and ripping tool It has been closed by Bastian Germann <[email protected]>.
