Please make the debian/* license compatible with the project's license 
(GPL-2-only and GPL-3+ are not).
This is especially relevant for debian/patches. Also, the GPL-3+ reference says 
GPL-2 in its text.

You are missing Klaus Schmidinger's copyright statements for some po/*.po files 
and scanfilter.*.

I do not see changes in 2024, so the general copyright range should end at 2023.

The debian/watch file has an incorrect filenamemangle (tar.xz instead of 
tar.gz, which you actually get).

I suggest to add the SERVICES.html in debian/docs.

Note:

VCS etc. will be created once the package has been accepted into experimental.

I have created a repo in the debian namespace and invited you.
Please change the Vcs-* fields with the next upload.
