Package: sponsorship-requests
Severity: normal
Dear mentors,
I am looking for a sponsor for my package "qabc":
* Package name : qabc
Version : 1.11-1
Upstream contact : Benoît Rouits <[email protected]>
* URL : http://brouits.free.fr/qabc/
* License : FSFAP, GPL-3+
* Vcs : https://github.com/be1/qabc
Section : sound
The source builds the following binary packages:
qabc - minimal GUI for ABC music notation
To access further information about this package, please visit the
following URL:
https://mentors.debian.net/package/qabc/
Alternatively, you can download the package with 'dget' using this command:
dget -x
https://mentors.debian.net/debian/pool/main/q/qabc/qabc_1.11-1.dsc
Changes since the last upload:
qabc (1.11-1) unstable; urgency=medium
.
* New upstream release 1.11
* Bump standards version to 4.6.2
* Fix licences in debian/copyright
Regards,

Hi,
d/copyright, debian/* section, the update s/2022/2024/ should be
2022-2024, specifiying a range and not only the last year.
d/control - VCS-* should point to the place where the Debian packaging
is happening, not the upstream repository. You can specify a branch on
the fields. (I've filed a bug for that one.)
Linitian:
I: qabc source: debian-watch-uses-insecure-uri
http://brouits.free.fr/qabc/qabc-(.+)\.tar\.gz [debian/watch:2]
You can point the watch file directly to your github repo, can't you?
I: qabc: desktop-entry-contains-encoding-key Encoding
[usr/share/applications/qabc.desktop:2]
I: qabc: hardening-no-bindnow [usr/bin/qabc]
I: qabc: spelling-error-in-description "allow to" "allow one to"
I: qabc: typo-in-manual-page "allow to" "allow one to"
[usr/share/man/man1/qabc.1.gz:11]
Those are small issues, do not prevent an upload, though please verify
and if neeeded fix them for the next upload.
