Hi, did you mean from the new file?
Some operations have both 'Save' and 'Save As' (like Crop or Delete
pages), it shouldn't affect the previous file unless you use 'Save'.
When I use it, it seems to copy metadata on files it writes (things like
Title, Producer, Signature...). Where do you see copyright information
on a pdf file? An example file would help.
If it's dropping some metadata, maybe that's an enhancement to ask from
upstream. Even if I could fix it, it shouldn't be part of the packaging
at debian.
