First of all, the way you're trying to adopt the package is wrong. To
properly adopt apachetop, you must take ownership of the original
orphaning bug. To do this, do the following:
Send an email to: [email protected]
Subject: ITA: apachetop -- Realtime Apache monitoring tool
Content:
Control: retitle -1 ITA: apachetop -- Realtime Apache monitoring tool
Package: wnpp
Owner: Osman Romulo Condori Guevara <[email protected]>
I intend to adopt the Apachetop package.
This will change the bug from O to ITA and will take you as the owner of
the bug.
After you've taken control of the bug, you can request maintainer access
to the repo where apachetop is hosted, in this case:
https://salsa.debian.org/debian/apachetop, and specify in your request
that you have adopted the package and will maintain it from now on.
There are other things you should do, but for now, I hope this has been
helpful.
