The C23 patch that you forwarded upstream you have followed through to
being merged in the upstream codebase, so why not take the opportunity
to reflect this in the metadata which you are updating now with an
'Accepted-Upstream' DEP-3 field? You would also set 'Last-Update' and I
would consider refreshing the diff to match the version as modified by
you to get accepted upstream.
Running pedantic lintian checks on source and binary artefacts did not
produce anything that concerned me although can be a useful pointer to
future clean-ups:
lintian -v -i -I -E --pedantic --show-overrides --profile debian

I am aware you were in the process of providing a C23 fix before the
recent QA Upload that did this.
This upload looks good to me as it is now so I am tagging as 'confirmed'
and hope that you find a sponsor soon!
