Package: sponsorship-requests
Severity: wishlist

Dear mentors,

I am looking for a sponsor for my package "gallia":

 * Package name     : gallia
   Version          : 2.0.0b2-1
   Upstream contact : Stefan Tatschner <[email protected]>
 * URL              : https://fraunhofer-aisec.github.io/gallia/
 * License          : CC0, LGPL, MIT, Apache-2.0
 * Vcs              : https://salsa.debian.org/rumpelsepp/gallia
   Section          : net

The source builds the following binary packages:

  gallia - Extendable Pentesting Framework

gallia is a pentesting and scanning framework for automotive ECUs which
is used in production in the industry (disclaimer: we work with it
@dayjob including certain industry partners; I am the upstream
maintainer). The project has been presented by me @fosdem23 and there
is a short public screencast presentation and a (high level) blogpost
available:

  * https://archive.fosdem.org/2023/schedule/event/gallia/
  * https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VGveT4xtfL0
  *
https://www.cybersecurity.blog.aisec.fraunhofer.de/en/gallia-an-extendable-pentesting-framework/

I am looking forward to any feedback in order to bring this tool into
debian. The tool is written in Python and I have the code (including
autopkgtests) in salsa:

  * https://salsa.debian.org/rumpelsepp/gallia
  * https://salsa.debian.org/rumpelsepp/gallia/-/pipelines/953941

The current release is 2.0 beta2, however we will release 2.0 this
year.

Alternatively, you can download the package with 'dget' using this
command:

  dget -x

Changes for the initial release:

 gallia (2.0.0b2-1) unstable; urgency=medium
 .
   * Initial release. (Closes: #nnnn)

Regards,
Stefan
