Thanks for this. I've wanted to get involved with Debian for quite a while but have found it difficult to discover how to take the first steps. Having worked with many non-profit orgs, I'm used to sign-up sheets & streamlined entry, which obviously Debian doesn't have, so this is very helpful information.
