Bastian,
I am a little confused. You said:
>Please use the documented channels to file RFSs for the Python Team,
>which is the Python Team email list or the IRC channel's topic.
>
>Please do not file a RFS directed to the Python Team on
>sponsorship-requests and please do not just refile one when you are told
>to go somewhere else. Thank you!
1. Manual files a RFS on mentors for this package. I am not aware of there
being anything wrong with doing that. But, you close the RFS and told him to
direct the request to the Python team.
2. Manuel then did as you requested and refiled the RFS on the Python Team
mailing list. You then closed the RFS and told him he should send it to the
Python Team mailing list! Which is exactly what he had just done.
Can you please explain what it is that you want him to do?

Hi Soren,
I have not noticed that the Python Team list was in Cc. The RFS in that list is still valid, closing it on sponsorship-requests does not change it. I have already had more messages with Manuel about it.
The Team Policy is clear on where to send Python Team RFSs.
Cheers,
Bastian
