Package: sponsorship-requests
Severity: wishlist

Dear mentors,

I am looking for a sponsor for my package "logserver":

 * Package name     : logserver
   Version          : 1.13.2-1
   Upstream contact : Joel Reardon <[email protected]>
 * URL              : https://codeberg.org/potatocrunchcereal/logserver
 * License          : GPL-3.0-or-later
 * Vcs              : https://salsa.debian.org/sney/logserver
   Section          : utils

The source builds the following binary packages:

  logserver - advanced log file pager

To access further information about this package, please see the VCS on Salsa or visit the following URL:

  https://mentors.debian.net/package/logserver/

Note that mentors.debian.net has not been updated for d/watch version 5 or the latest Standards-Version so there is some noise in the QA section.

Alternatively, you can download the package with 'dget' using this command:

dget -x https://mentors.debian.net/debian/pool/main/l/logserver/logserver_1.13.2-1.dsc

Changes for the initial release:

 logserver (1.13.2-1) unstable; urgency=medium
 .
   * Initial release. (Closes: #1122378)

Logserver has two newer releases that were made due to an upstream misunderstanding of some lintian warnings. After discussion with the developer, we've agreed that in the interests of quality, 1.13.2 should be the version uploaded to debian. The only necessary lintian fix will be included in a later upstream release once there are also updates to the tool.

Please let me know if you need any more information, and thanks for your consideration!

sney
