asking about relationships between maintainers and contributors

Hi dear mentors. sorry for bothering, I have question about how to 
upload new upstream version for package that I adopted recently.(new 
upstream update have done in salsa debian repository)
I think about dput *.changes to "mentors.debian.net" and then ask for 
"RFS" but i have some issue in my network cause of my country policy.
I what to ask: Is that ok to send mentors all package upload materials 
(like with email) then ask him for upload package ?
