Hello there,
I'm would like to see new versions of a few packages included in Debian,
which haven't been updated since 2024, because recent upstream changes
greatly improve their usability.
On WNPP, these packages aren't mentioned.
My updates to the first package I have already put on Salsa and I'm
willing to put in the work to get these packages updated.

- What is the best way to bring this situation to the attention of the
current maintainer?
- What should be my next steps in order to get this process going?
