Hello Debian Community,
My name is Muhammad Bin Rizwan, known as Aion. I am 13 years old, based in
Pakistan, and a dedicated FOSS advocate. I am writing to formally declare
my intent to eventually join the New Member (NM) process.
I have been using Linux exclusively for 9 months and maintain a penta-boot
setup using bootctl (systemd-boot). My machine is a Celeron N4500 with 8GB
RAM and a 1TB HDD. I do not use this machine for gaming; it is dedicated
entirely to development, documentation, and art. While the hardware is
resource-constrained, it has taught me deep system optimization.
I am fully committed to the Debian Social Contract. While my focus is on
Debian, I believe in supporting the wider FOSS ecosystem.
How I can contribute:
Documentation: I am a writer; I can translate complex technical behaviors
into clear documentation.
Stress Testing: I specialize in finding performance edge-cases on budget
hardware.
Identity Ready: I have my NADRA Juvenile Card ready for verification.
Transparency: I am happy to provide photos of my hardware and setup to
verify my current constraints. As a student, I am also interested in any
community hardware donation programs that support active contributors, as
my current bottleneck is the mechanical HDD during compilation.
I am ready to assist the Documentation and QA teams.
