Hello there,
I guess that depends on several factors
- the content of the DVD (at linuxtag, there was a debian sarge dvd, which is certainly legal to show)
- the region in the world where you are (over here in switzerland, showing dvds you own is not a problem, copying them might be)
so without further inmformation, consult the law texts for your region..
