GIAC is a computer algebra system developed by Bernard Parisse, author of the algebra software of HP 49G, 40G, 49G+, 48GII calculators. It includes :
- Xcas, an FLTK-based feature-rich GUI (equation editor, turtle graphics, ...).
- A C++ library, packaged as "libgiac0" and "libgiac0-dev".
- Tutorials in English, French and Spanish ("giac-doc").
- Extensive documentation in French ("giac-doc-nonfree").
