The .orig.tar.gz tarball should be as close as the original as possible. (And in 95% of cases, it actually can be the same). If you are able to create Linux binaries without removing the dos source, or the amiga source, then there is no reason to remove anything. If the original tarball uncompress into a single directory, then it is just a matter or renaming the tarball into something like package_upstreamversion.orig.tar.gz. -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- Version: 2.6.3ia Charset: latin1 iQCVAgUBNSycoiqK7IlOjMLFAQEo8gQAk7iNqoUNLt1XR73GO/dLo9SSSeKemLUo zCLxaL59rIC+vkdHDyhBNMcOdc+4LrZkiVJWi1jim8x7C+z0DzMlJdhjoNXPMEUv tQWVqkdSabva5bwIOKivuUWyWULowPAcUgTfn4YhtPJgiGDNXWmRri5w9o2El8Gk LwCkQBo8Sgo= =c6CV -----END PGP SIGNATURE----- -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with a subject of "unsubscribe".
