Well, I've been following the directions from the "The New-Maintainer's Debian Packaging Howto" (from the web site).
I've gotten to the point where I'm supposed to execute "build" but I get an error in the change log at "line 5" (which is the place the "maintainer" is listed). Something about the trailer line having a bad format. I've included the changelog file here.. any ideas? Question 2: When I follow this step, it keeps auto inserting my email address. Is there any way to change the email address it inserts? I want to use the debian.org address only for maintainer mail and my "regular" one for all other mail I send out... ---------------------------------- http://benham.net/index.html -----BEGIN GEEK CODE BLOCK----- Version: 3.1 GCS d+(-) s:+ a29 C++$ UL++>++++ P+++$ L++>++++ E?
