Hello, I tried to install Debian 2.0.2, and it would not recognize my cdrom which is a an old Nec cd-rom drive:260 ATAPI. I had this same problem with Suse, but entering hdc=cdrom used to work. Suse would recognize it but would say that it was either a cdrom or a floppy, probably a floppy. But that doesn't work either now.
