Hello All, As a new maintainer, I need some advice:
- How do I go about uploading a new package that has never been uploaded before? Do I just dupload it, or do I have to contact somebody first about adding the new package? - I have subscribed to a number of lists (all at the same time), including debian-security-announce and debian-devel-announce, but never received the 2nd confirmation that I have actually been subscribed. Does this mean I have already been subscribed? Or does it mean something went wrong? The other 4 debian mailing lists (including this one) which I subcribed to went OK without any problem. - Are all Debian developers meant to receive accounts on Debian's computers (eg master.debian.org)? If so, how/where are we to receive the passwords from? Or is this something I am still waiting for from the new maintainers application process? I am officially a maintainer (there was a list posted to debian-private), so I want to make certain that I am not expected to do anything myself. Thanks in advance, -- Brian May <[EMAIL PROTECTED]>
