Is the kernel patch needed for the compression to work actually or is it just
a minor tweak? In case it adds the compression support, can you turn it of
at compilation time? In that case I would suggest to include the patch in the
kernel-packages for Debian.
Anyway - I will take a look at these packages. Should I do the upload?
