Wrong way around. Best way: in the changelog for the upload. Right way: [EMAIL PROTECTED] Worst way: close nnn to [EMAIL PROTECTED] Reason: the [EMAIL PROTECTED] method does not send any explanation to the bug submitter, only a message saying that the bug was closed. The subject line does not get sent, so your message won't get though. The [EMAIL PROTECTED] message is included in the text of the message sent to the submitter, so they get a reason why it is closed.
