Hello. I'm not a Debian maintainer, but I'm interested in maintain packages related to genetics or statistics. I've seen that packages like "fastlink" or "phylip" got orphaned. My question is: - should I send an ITA replying the O message? - should I submit a "new maintainer's application" first? I'm not sure this is the right list where I have to ask this question.
