Hi, I'm maitaining iiwusynth which includes an unversioned shared library.
I never made a separate packages for the lib part (no -dev either) cause the package is really small but now some other DD asks me for an extra package, containing the lib (+ another -dev package) because his own package depends on the same library. Upstream author never versioned his dynamic library. What am I supposed to do ? What soname should I use for the library ? Please CC me any reply.
