Which compiler

     For the 1386 architecture, sid has gcc 2:2.95.4-17 and gcc-3.0
1:3.0.4-13.  Which compiler should be used for an Architecture: any
package?  If the answer is gcc-3.0, should that be included in the
build-depends?
